Jose Mourinho: Fan proposes in front of Roma boss

There aren’t many bigger names in the managerial world that are bigger than Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese gaffer has quite literally been there, done that and won absolutely all of it in the process.

He initially started making waves at Porto where he lead the club to a stunning Champions League victory before going on to oversee a revolution at Chelsea.

Under Mourinho, the Blues enjoyed some of the headiest days winning the Premier League with one of the most miserly defences ever curated on English shores.

He then went on to conquer Europe once again, this time at the helm of Italian giants Inter Milan before taking up the hot seat at Real Madrid.

All along the way Mourinho built fiercely world class teams that were regularly challenging for the biggest silverware in the game.

It could be argued, however, that in the latter years of his career, his success and killer edge has tapered off with spells at Manchester United and Tottenham proving to be largely underwhelming.

He is now plying his trade at Roma as he looks to haul the historic club back to the summit of the game where it belongs.

So, with a CV as well endowed as that, you would think that Mourinho has just about seen it all. Well, we’re afraid to say that you would be wrong.

New footage that has been doing the rounds on social media shows a painfully awkward Mourinho playing witness to a fan’s marriage proposal.

Posted originally by the official AS Roma channels, Mourinho, having posed for a photo with some fans, as one of those fans proposed to his girlfriend.

Mourinho, who looked desperate to make a break for it, was at a complete loss for what to do as the man got down on one knee to pop the big question.
