Jorginho Confirms What Mohamed Salah Said To Him Before Penalty, It's Cheeky

​The Italy international successfully converted his spot-kick in Chelsea's 11-10 penalty shootout defeat at Wembley Stadium last weekend. 

​That was despite Salah doing his best to put off Jorginho literally moments before he was about to take his penalty. 

Despite Salah's comment, Jorginho insisted on the jump as he coolly slotted past Caoimhin Kelleher​. 

The Euro 2020 winner has since taken to social media to confirm what the Egyptian said to him. 

Jorginho made it 5-5 after Salah bagged his side's fifth penalty. 

But, of course, Kepa Arrizabalaga​, who came on specifically for the penalty shootout, blazed his penalty over the bar to hand Liverpool the Carabao Cup. 

Thomas Tuchel refused to blame Kepa, with Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp ​slamming the Chelsea manager's decision. 

"I don't like it, I think it is rubbish," said Redknapp. "Mendy is likely to save them, he is one of the best keepers in the world. I hope it puts it to bed now.

"I don't think it works and it is a rubbish idea. I didn't like his [Kepa] behaviour all the way through it. I think it is a case of being too clever for your own good. You're complicating it.

"He [Mendy] is a bigger keeper and there is no reason why they couldn't have won it if they had Mendy in goal."

Jamie Carragher, though, disagreed with Redknapp​ as he reminded him of Kepa's previous penalty shootout heroics.​

"We shouldn't forget that was the decision he made in the Super Cup final," Carragher said. "Kepa came on and they won that game. I think Chelsea have won two shootouts on their way to this final - and this is Kepa's competition.
