Jordan Pickford mocked by Newcastle fan who dressed up as a dinosaur

Newcastle picked up a massive three points with a 3-1 victory over Everton at St James’ Park on Tuesday evening.

Eddie Howe’s side went 1-0 down following Jamaal Lascelles’ own goal 10 minutes before half-time. However, rather incredibly, they were level one minute later after Everton’s Mason Holgate returned the favour by putting the ball into his own net too.

But the second half belonged to Newcastle.

Ryan Fraser put the home side ahead before Kieran Trippier sealed a brilliant victory with a terrific free-kick.

It was a win that lifted Newcastle out of the relegation zone and just one point behind their opponents.

The fans inside the stadium were absolutely loving it. And the fact they had stuck three goals past former Sunderland goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford, made it even sweeter.

The Toon Army certainly haven’t forgotten Pickford’s past having graduated through Sunderland’s academy before playing in the first-team.

In every match he plays against Newcastle, Pickford is subject to plenty of abuse from Newcastle fans. And he’s not one to shy away from it.
