Jones, Silva, St-Pierre: Henry Cejudo names his top 5 UFC fighters of all time, no Khabib

Henry Cejudo has named Jon Jones and Demetrious Johnson in his top five UFC fighters of all time – with Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre also on the list but no Khabib Nurmagomedov.

While naming his top five, Cejudo actually put himself above St-Pierre as he sensationally accused the Canadian of cherry-picking his opponents.

He even went on to suggest that St-Pierre’s win over Michael Bisping should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Cejudo also named Jones as the GOAT having spent time training alongside him at Fight Ready in Arizona.

Jones is widely considered the best ever while Johnson, Silva and St-Pierre are almost always in the conversation as well.

Cejudo, 35, told The Schmo: “No.1 Jon Jones, No.2 Demetrious Johnson, No.3 Anderson Silva, and you know what man, I’ve been thinking about it a lot Schmo, I’m actually No.4.

“I used to put GSP there but I’m actually No.4 just for the simple fact that I won both my belts from the two greatest [at the time].

“Just because Bisping had a championship at the time doesn’t mean he was the best in the world.

“I literally beat the best guys in the world. I beat three Hall of Famers in my last four fights – Demetrious Johnson, TJ Dillashaw and Dominick Cruz. I’m going to have put myself on that GOAT mountain.

“I used to think more of GSP, but the reality is I still feel like he cherry-picked man, with all due respect to the legend, so I’m going to have to put him at No.5.”

While Cejudo’s list features some of the biggest names in MMA history, there was no room for ‘The Eagle’.

However, he insists he has the perfect explanation for leaving him off the list – even if his maths is slightly wrong.
