Jon Jones makes one huge UFC demand for Tom Aspinall heavyweight title fight
Jon Jones, the reigning heavyweight champion, has made it clear that a significant financial incentive would be required for him to entertain the idea of fighting interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall. .

However, in a conversation with Kevin Iole, Jones expressed scepticism about Aspinall's standing in the sport: "More than likely not. I feel like Tom Aspinall is, I don't want to say 'nobody', but he just hasn't proven anything. He hasn't done anything – I understand that he won his belt against Sergei, Sergei just got slaughtered by someone else. So I'm not here to gamble someone else making a name off of me, I'm here to compete against the guys where when we look back 10 years from now, 'Jon Jones fought this guy, that guy, this legend, this champion...'."

Despite his earlier dismissal, in a more recent dialogue with internet personality Adin Ross, Jones hinted at a possible confrontation with 31 year old Aspinall, albeit under specific conditions: "The only way that we do it is if Dana and Hunter give me a check that really changes my mind... I want it to be really worth my while. But right now, it doesn't feel worth my while.", reports the Mirror.
