John Fury makes surprise Jake Paul admission ahead of Tommy Fury fight

John Fury has revealed that he has an admiration for Jake Paul and that he's 'very good' at what he does ahead of his fight against son, Tommy later this month.

Fury and Paul will finally enter the ring after many words being exchanged between the pair, with the animosity starting in the build-up to their original fight date in December 2021. That fight was cancelled due to Fury suffering a combination of injury and illness before their rescheduled August 2022 fight was also called off due to Fury's Visa issues.

The fight is now set to finally take place, with their fight set for February 26 in Saudi Arabia. There was a heated exchange between Paul and the Fury family on that occasion, with former boxer John having to be restrained as Paul heckled the pair from the commentary box after Tommy's exhibition fight against Rolly Lambert back in November.

That exhibition fight was booed due to the underwhelming nature of the contest, however, this f8ight is set to be much more heated with a place in the WBC cruiserweight rankings up for grabs should Paul win the fight. It is a controversial move, but is testament to the progress made by Paul, who started his fighting career against Deji in 2018 and now faces the undefeated Fury in a fully licensed, competitive contest.
