John Beaton named Rangers Player of the Year on Hotline as Celtic diehard can't fathom one thing about penalty snub

There was never a clearer penalty in the game on Sunday and neither Beaton nor Maclean on VAR even questioned it, a disgraceful decision. Rab Hunter, Dumfries, added: “The book is already closed on Rangers most influential and game changing player of the year - and the undisputed winner is John Beaton!”

Brian McColligan asked: “Is it crucial for Scottish football to keep the Rangers in second place? Because when it comes to penalty decisions, they seem to be refereed differently from the rest.

"I didn’t see any difference from last week’s push on Cyriel Dessers in the Queen’s Park game to Sunday’s push on the Hearts player - yet a different outcome was awarded.”
