Joe Swash says he 'didn't want to go home' after Stacey Solomon left him for live TV appearance

Joe Swash has had his say after he tried to stop Stacey Solomon from her latest TV appearance due to him enjoying their family holiday so much. The former EastEnders star and his TV presenter wife headed on a last-minute trip to their local holiday park before the end of the latest school holidays.

Stacey, 34, revealed sheand Joe, 42, ditched their gorgeous home, dubbed Pickle Cottage due to Stacey's nickname for her kids, took their children - Rex, four, Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle - on the trip just days before the Easter holidays came to an end.

Stacey admitted to only being down the road from their Essex abode, she shared how she felt like they were miles away enjoying the beach and the amenities available on the park.

But it soon became clear that the fun was so good the family didn't want to leave the holiday park, which was Haven Kent Coast Holiday Park and cost the family £345, as Stacey revealed she wasn't allowed to go home despite an appearance on This Morning planned - which she did make on Monday (April 15).

Filming herself and Joe talking to the camera, the Sort Your Life Out host said on Sunday night (April 14): "We're still in this blooming caravan," before Joe interjected: "The kids won't let us go home."
