Joe Hart has Celtic on the brain as he jokes 'paradise' has nothing on Parkhead

Joe Hart might be off enjoying his summer holidays but judging by his Instagram the stopper can't get Celtic out of his head.

The former England keeper has proved an inspired signing by Ange Postecoglou and was a big part of getting the title over the line last season.

The 35-year-old was a virtual ever-present and kept 26 clean sheets in all competitions, helping transform a leaky defence into the best in the country.

He's enjoying some well-deserved downtime in the sun with his family and shared a snap of himself making the most of the weather.

But if his utopian surroundings are some people's idea of paradise, Hart reckons that's because they've never been to Celtic Park.

Writing on Instagram he said: "The guys that work here keep telling me this place is paradise...they obviously have never been then have they?"

Hart 's influence goes further than just on the pitch as teammate Liel Abada shared a heartwarming tale about how Hart helped him settle in.

Taking on the role of big brother, he stepped in and did media duties for the winger at the start of the season back when he wasn't so sure of the language.

Abada said: "At the end of one of the games they wanted to interview me and I said I did not feel comfortable enough with the language.

"So Joe came and told them he would do it in my place. He is a good friend of mine, a player who has made an amazing career with lots of titles. He is a role model for me."
