Joe Aribo is first in Rangers fire sale but Celtic warned Euro final was just the start of great things to come - Hotline

Rangers are starting to ramp up their summer shopping spree with Antonio Colak set to sign while Joe Aribo gets set for his big money move down south. Celtic have already been active but as usual when it comes to the Glasgow rivals, punters like to chuck stones across the city.

Eddie Easson, Ballingry, said: “Celtic getting their business done early. Rangers trying to push cheap deals through, just maybe they need the Aribo money in first. When will their loyal fans realise they are in massive debt and maybe the board are trying to balance the books? The 'For Sale’ signs will be hanging round the necks of Kent, Bassey and Morelos soon.”

Paddy Gowans emailed: “Let's face it, £10m for Aribo is Mickey Mouse money to these top tier English clubs. If he fails they write it off and he ends up on the scrapheap like most of the prima donnas.”

Hotline caller Ian McKay yesterday claimed Rangers would be champions and Europa League winners if key men hadn’t been crocked.
