Jimmy Bullard has labelled Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as the club's ‘best signing of the last 30 years’ ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea.
Bullard, who played for a plethora of clubs including Wigan Athletic, Hull City and Fulham, has become a television personality since his retirement. And he believes the appointment and subsequent work of the German is the reason why Liverpool are currently enjoying a prolonged period of success.
“I’ve got one word really: Klopp,” Bullard told the PA news agency. “Klopp’s the one who’s made all the difference, it’s just unbelievable what he’s done for that football club. Before he came they were searching, they were exactly where United are now, six, seven years ago.
