Jet2 issues update for Manchester Airport passengers flying to Canary Islands

Jet2 has issued an update for passengers planning holidays to the Canary Islands from Manchester Airport as it plans its “biggest ever winter sun programme”. The airline has announced that it will expand its services from Manchester Airport to Lanzarote, Tenerife and Gran Canaria this winter.

It follows ‘continued demand’ from travellers looking for a sunny getaway over the winter months. Jet2 and Jet2holidays will add more than 25,000 seats across five UK airports, including Manchester, to the popular Spanish islands, known for their year-round sunny weather.

Additional flights have been added throughout February and March 2025, which includes the February half term holidays. The winter 24/25 season will see a 15per cent capacity increase to the Canary Islands, with over 2.25million seats on sale from across the UK.
