Jeremy Loughman to make Ireland debut as Andy Farrell rings changes for Fiji

Jeremy Loughman will make his Ireland debut against Fiji on Saturday as Andy Farrell makes nine changes to his starting line-up.

Munster loosehead Loughman starts alongside Rob Herring and captain Tadhg Furlong in the front row, while Joey Carbery replaces Johnny Sexton at out-half for his first Ireland start since February.

Jimmy O’Brien starts at full-back, having made a big impact when introduced against South Africa, with Robbie Henshaw restored to the midfield alongside Stuart McCloskey after the pair recovered from hamstring and arm injuries respectively.

Robert Baloucoune and Mack Hansen are retained on the wings while Jamison Gibson-Park is promoted to the run-on side, with Craig Casey providing scrum-half cover.

Ulster lock Kieran Treadwell makes only his second Ireland start, and first in over five years, partnering Tadhg Beirne in the second row, with Nick Timoney and Jack Conan named alongside Caelan Doris in the back row.

Uncapped duo Cian Prendergast and Jack Crowley are on the bench, having impressed in recent months with Emerging Ireland and Ireland 'A'.
