Jay Slater funeral LIVE updates as tearful mother seen ahead of 'celebration of life' for teenager

Jay Slater's heartbroken loved ones will celebrate his life at his funeral in Lancashire today - nearly two months after he was reported missing in Tenerife.

The 19-year-old was found dead on the island last month following a weeks-long mass search in and around the village of Masca, to the island's north, from where he disappeared on June 17. He was reported missing having attended a rave festival the night before.

The cemetery is expected to be packed with Jay's family and friends, who must follow specific directions laid down by his parents.

Family members paid tribute to Jay in a touching statement issued ahead of the funeral last week. The statement read: "A
