Jasprit Bumrah Shares Emotional Post For Late Father, Wife Sanjana Ganesan's Comment Wins Hearts

India pacer Jasprit Bumrah shared an emotional post on his Instagram, where he gave a warm tribute to his late father. Bumrah lost his father Jasbir Singh, when he was just five years old and was then raised by his mother, Daljit. The India pacer and his wife Sanjana Ganesan got blessed with a baby boy, Angad in September, last year. Sharing his thoughts on life after becoming a dad, Bumrah posted an old picture of his father, holding him in his arms.

"Your void was always felt in our lives and since I have become a father myself I realised what a father's emotion is and what I had missed in my life . As we remember you with happy memories I wish you were with us dad," the caption of the post read.

Commenting on the post, Sanjana wrote, "He's watching over you every day.”

Bumrah and TV presenter Sanjana tied knot in March 2021. The couple got blessed with a baby boy, Angad on September 4, 2023.

Apart from being a sports presenter, Sanjana also appeared on famous reality show MTV Splitsvilla in 2014.

Talking about Bumrah, the pacer impressed everyone with his stunning six-wicket haul in the second Test against South Africa, earlier this month. Both Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj played crucial roles as India ended the two-match Test series with 1-1 draw.

Currently rested for the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, the 30-year-old pacer will be back in action for the five-match Test series against England, kick-starting from January 25 in Hyderabad.
