Jason Quigley to face new opponent Anatoli Hunanyan in Dublin return
Jason Quigley's headline fight at the National Stadium on Saturday will now be against Anatoli Hunanyan after original opponent Kim Poulsen withdrew through injury.
Czech Hunanyan (9-8-1) will be aiming to spoil the homecoming party for the Donegal boxer who last fought at the Dublin venue in 2013.
It’s set to be Quigley’s first fight since suffering a second-round knockout against WBO world middleweight Demetrius Andrade in November 2021.
Despite the nature of his loss to Andrade, Quigley has said that he still believes that he can win a world title.
"I am not just coming back here for the sake of it," said Quigley.
"I am coming back here to win a world title again. This is the start of it.
"I am not coming back to fight for a world title - I’m coming back to win a world title."
The undercard is stacked with Irish fighters, with Paddy Donovan, Brett McGinty and Liam Walsh amongst those set to feature.
