Jamie Carragher 'names' old Liverpool enemy as possible Jurgen Klopp successor
Jamie Carragher has revealed that he was recently 'talking' about Diego Simeone possibly replacing Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
Anfield legend Carragher claimed that he would 'love to see' the Atletico Madrid manager take over a club in the Premier League. The claim came during the latest episode of The Overlap.
Nicknamed “El Cholo”, Simeone has led Atletico to league titles in 2014 and last year, as well as winning a Copa del Rey and the Europa League twice. The Argentine also helped the Madrid outfit reach the Champions League final in 2014 and 2016, losing on both occasions to city rivals Real Madrid.
