Jamie Carragher couldn't believe Micah Richards' claim that David Silva was as good as De Bruyne
Kevin De Bruyne was Manchester City‘s match-winner once again on Tuesday evening.
For 70 odd minutes at the Etihad Stadium, Pep Guardiola’s side were massively frustrated by Atletico Madrid and their insanely defensive tactics.
City really struggled to breach the Spanish champions’ 5-5-0 formation, until De Bruyne combined superbly with second half substitute Phil Foden.
Less than two minutes after entering the fray, Foden picked up the ball in a pocket of space and played an inch-perfect pass into De Bruyne, who finished emphatically past Jan Oblak.
It was a superbly crafted goal by two of the best technicians in the game.
