Jamie Carragher has slammed Paris Saint-Germain after their capitulation against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Mauricio Pochettino's side surrendered a 2-0 aggregate lead in the final 30 minutes of the two-legged tie, as Karim Benzema scored a shock hat-trick at the Bernabeu.

PSG have dominated in Ligue 1 since Qatar Sports Investments - a subsidiary of Qatar's state-run sovereign-wealth fund - purchased the French club in 2011.

Yet they've failed to win the Champions League - the owners' ultimate aim - despite signing the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.

The closest PSG have come is the final in 2020 - when they lost to Bayern Munich - and many believe their defence is the main reason for their continued failure.

Real's third goal on Wednesday evening came just seconds after their second, leaving former Liverpool defender Carragher furious in the CBS Sports studio.
