James Bond star Pierce Brosnan charged over 'trespass at Yellowstone'
James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has been charged with stepping out of bounds in a thermal area.
The Irish actor walked in an off-limits area at Mammoth Terraces at Yellowstone National Park, US on November 1, according to two federal citations issued on Tuesday (December 26). Brosnan, 70, is most known for his part as the on-screen spy prior to Daniel Craig's takeover.
He is set to make a mandatory appearance at an American courtroom on January 23. He was reportedly visiting the park on a personal visit and not for film work, according to US Attorney's Office for Wyoming.

Mammoth Terraces is a popular tourist spot that features mineral-encrusted hot springs. Other thermal features in the park include spouting geysers and gurgling mud pots where water can reach boiling point.
It is dangerous to go out-od-bounds in the area as visitors can be seriously burned. Getting caught breaking the rules can result in jail time, large fines, and bans form the park.
