Police have issued a heartfelt plea to a man who has been missing for over a year. James Beer, 30, from Swansea, has been missing for nearly 13 months.

According to South Wales Police, he logged out of his computer at 4.30am on May 18, 2023, and there have been no confirmed sightings of him since then. Officers have released a description of him in the hope that anyone with information will come forward.

Detective Sergeant David Connick urged people to "cast their minds back" to the time he vanished and asked anyone who may have had contact with him prior to his disappearance to come forward.

Wales Online reports that DS Connick said: "On May 19 last year family members reported 30-year-old James Beer missing and a year after his disappearance we have had no confirmed sightings of James and his whereabouts are unknown. From inquires we know James logged out of his computer at approximately 4.30am on May 18, 2023.

"However we have had no positive sightings of James since May 17 last year. James is described as being of slim build, 5ft 8in in height, and at the time of his disappearance sporting a goatee-style beard. We believe he was in possession of a blue rucksack.

"I am appealing to anyone who may have been on or around the area of Culfor Road, Loughor, on May 17 or 18, 2023, possibly heading to work or working themselves in that area, to cast your minds back. Did you see anyone matching James' description on those days? If so please contact us.

"We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have had any contact with James leading up to his disappearance or after his disappearance who has yet to assist this inquiry. Again we would
