Paul vs Silva is set to take place on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 live on FITE TV straight from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, AZ.
The ‘Problem Child’ Paul has not fought in the ring since December 2021, when he defeated Tyron Woodley in a rematch after Tommy Fury was unable to compete.
Paul then had a date set for a return against Hasim Rahman Jr in August 2022, but this bout was also cancelled, meaning that it will have been around ten months since Paul has had a full bout in the ring.
Silva however has competed fairly recently in an eight-round exhibition bout with fellow Brazilian MMA veteran Bruno Machado at a boxing event in Abu Dhabi on May 21st, 2022.
The former 185-pound UFC Champion would go the distance in the exhibition contest, and no winner was officially declared.
