Jake Paul shows off cardio ahead of boxing return in October

Jake Paul has shown off part of his cardio routine as he prepares for a rumoured match-up with Anderson Silva later this year.

It’s safe to say that Jake Paul isn’t exactly the most popular figure in the sport of professional boxing. Ever since making the transition over from the YouTube world, the man known as ‘The Problem Child’ has been making waves in the form of vicious knockouts, odd callouts and larger-than-life antics reminiscent of his brother Logan’s tenure in WWE.

It’s been nine months since we’ve seen Jake compete inside the squared circle and while he was scheduled to compete against Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr in weeks gone by, both of those outings were cancelled as a result of the two men pulling out.

Now, though, Paul has been teasing that his biggest fight yet is on the horizon, with October being listed as the timeline for his return.

As we get closer and closer to him announcing his opponent, the 25-year-old continues to take to social media in order to show off the hard work he’s been putting in to stay healthy.

As if he wasn’t motivated enough, his hype man seemed to be in pretty good form based on these quotes.

“Nobody’s stepping to you bro, come on. Show them what time it is, you got a lot left in the gas tank, you can do this s*** all day! You got a lot left. Can’t nobody stay with you, nobody got your heart, ain’t nobody working like you, let’s go champ. Let’s go!”

The rumour mill has been churning out plenty of names for Paul to take on but the one that seems to be signed, sealed and delivered is none other than Anderson Silva.
