Jake Paul reveals talks with Floyd Mayweather have stalled

Jake Paul revealed contract talks with Floyd Mayweather have stalled amid their ongoing weight disagreement.

Mayweather is calling for Paul to shed a few pounds but the YouTuber-turned-boxer and now promoter claims his request is simply absurd.

The influencer, 25, has taken the boxing world by storm over the last two years after highlight-reel knockouts of ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 38, retired MMA fighter Ben Askren, 37, and former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, 40.

In an interview with The Sun, the former Disney star confirmed that both parties are indeed interested in a potential fight but until they sort out a number of issues, it’s unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Paul said: “He’s interested if I would drop a bunch of weight. 

“He wants me to cut to a weight that I wouldn’t actually be able to cut to. So I think he is sort of hiding behind that excuse. 

“But you know Floyd, he’s going to spend all of his money on strippers and Lamborghinis and s*** like that.

“Not pay his taxes and then around this time next year, he’s going to be like, ‘Who can I fight for $20million, $30million? Alright, maybe I’ll fight Jake’. 

“So when he runs out of money, I bet you the phones will start ringing.” 

Paul also vowed not to make the same mistake as his brother Logan Paul who has apparently still not been paid in full for his exhibition bout with Mayweather in June of last year.

He added: “The difference is, my brother did that as part of Floyd’s promotion.

“Me, I would do it under Most Valuable Promotions, I’m in charge of the money. I’m in charge of the platform, so that’s the way it works. 

“I’d be the A-side too, what is Floyd bringing to the table?

“Yeah, he’s got X,Y and Z’s known in boxing, but you’re washed up
