Jake Paul fight time confirmed as he takes on Ryan Bourland in Puerto Rico in latest boxing escapade

Social media star Jake Paul is set to return to the ring tonight in the latest fight of his boxing career, taking on Ryan Bourland in Puerto Rico.

The social media star knocked out Andre August in a high-profile pay per view event in December but has stopped chasing big ratings and huge purses to move to a more traditional career path as he builds towards a world title shot As well as his knockout win against August he also took on professional boxer Tommy Fury in a huge match-up last year, losing on a controversial points decision.

Paul's fight with Bourland is the undercard to Amanda Serrano vs Nina Meinke's unified world featherweight title bout and takes place on what's effectively Paul's home turf. British fans will need to stay up late on Saturday night though to see the viral sensation in action, with the event start time actually midnight Sunday UK time. It will air on DAZN but, unlike Paul's previous PPV matches, is actually included within a standard DAZN subscription, meaning effectively it costs from just £9.99 bundled alongside a huge amount of additional sports content.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday ahead of the fight, Paul emphasised his long-term plans for a career within the sport, telling reporters: "I want to challenge myself and put on tough fights. I need to get experience on my path to becoming world champion."

At the event Paul took Bourland's hat from his head while they did the traditional face off, although it ended less painfully than the last time he joked around in similar fashion.

The star made headlines in 2021 when he filmed himself for Tiktok stealing Floyd Mayweather's hat at the press
