Jake Paul claimed Floyd Mayweather was 'too broke' to pay Logan in Feb - still no money

Jake Paul has accused Floyd Mayweather of failing to settle up the full amount of the agreement with his brother Logan Paul for their fight back in June 2021.

The exhibition which took place 6th June 2021 was fought over eight rounds with no winner being declared.

Mayweather controlled the fight and would have been the comfortable victor if they had gone to the judges scorecards.

The dispute over money has been rumbling on for much of the past year following the fight. Mayweather has remained tight lipped on the matter in the main.

The only time he did respond was during an interview on The Pivot Podcast, he said: “This comes with the territory. To them, that’s real money, and I like the YouTubers.

“The money on the back end though, from pay-per-view, that takes a while.”

Jake Paul has accused Mayweather of being broke, in an interview in February, per The Sun:

“Floyd is broke, man. I’ve been saying it the whole entire time. I think he probably spent it on all the girls he pays to be around him.”

Logan Paul has also weighed in on the matter, writing on Instagram: “He’s hard to hit, but even harder to collect money from.”

Mayweather seems oblivious to the noise, going about his business, his Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather business.

With another successful exhibition, this time against Don Moore – his former sparring partner – in Abu Dhabi. The final figures for that fight haven’t been agreed but Mayweather is expecting an eight-figure payday.

He also hinted that he would fight again before the end of the year against an as yet unknown opponent.
