Jake Paul calls out Mike Tyson for an exhibition fight

Jake Paul has called out Mike Tyson for an exhibition fight and believes he would beat the former world heavyweight champion.

The 25-year-old has won all five of his professional fights so far, although his opponents have been YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson, MMA fighter Ben Askren and ex-UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, who he has faced twice and won by KO in December.

Tyson, meanwhile, last fought professionally in 2005 but faced Roy Jones Jr in an eight-round exhibition bout in 2020.

And Paul believes he would get the better of one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

‘Ideally, for sure, that’s legendary,’ Paul told Boxing Social when asked about a potential fight with Tyson.

‘The old generation of boxing with the new generation of boxing, all being mixed into one.

‘As Mike Tyson said on the Joe Rogan podcast, it would be one of the biggest pay-per-views of all time.

‘Together when we were on the same card, we sold almost two million pay-per-views. It could be three million pay-per-views, four million pay-per-views.

‘Mike Tyson like you said on the podcast, if you’re watching this, let’s make the fight happen.

‘I’m ready and I think I would win, Mike thinks he would win, so let’s do it.’

When the idea of fighting Paul was proposed to him on the Hotboxin’ podcast earlier this month, Tyson said: ‘I love that. Sounds good.

‘Let’s do it, Jakey. God, wouldn’t that be cool?’
