Jaguars stay hot in rout of Ravens, feel they can be 'way better' - ESPN
BALTIMORE — Nobody is beating teams the way the Jacksonville Jaguars are in 2026, and if the historic trend continues, their season could end at SoFi Stadium in February.
The Jaguars' 33-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday night was the team's fourth by 23 or more points this season. They are the fifth team since 1999 with four victories by 23 or more points in the first eight games of the season, and three of the previous four teams that did that reached the Super Bowl, according to ESPN Research.
And here's the thing: The Jaguars believe they're not even close to being as good as they can be.
«I think we're way better than what we've put out there,» running back Chris Rodriguez said. «There's a lot of things we got to clean up, and we get a few days off and next week we'll look at those and keep moving forward.
»But man, this team is really good."
It's hard not to be impressed with what the Jaguars (6-2) have done through nine weeks.
They lead the NFL in point differential (plus-131), and the next closest team is San Francisco (plus-58).
They've scored 30-plus points five times, the first time in franchise history they've done that in at least five of their first eight games of a season.
They've scored at least 30 points in their past three games, a streak that is tied for the second-longest in franchise history, surpassed only by four consecutive victories in 2017. All three games were played in the rain, including one in London's Wembley Stadium.
Not only are the Jaguars beating teams handily, but they're also doing it while being short-handed. They've lost left tackle Anton Harrison (knee), nose tackle DaVon Hamilton (quad) and safety Eric Murray (elbow) to season-ending injuries in
