Jadon Sancho fires three-word message as Borussia Dortmund crush Harry Kane Bayern Munich dream

Jadon Sancho has marked Borussia Dortmund's win over Bayern Munich with a celebratory post on social media. The 24-year-old winger, who's been enjoying an excellent vein of form since leaving Manchester United on loan in January, played a key role for Edin Terzic's side at the Allianz Arena on Saturday night.

Karim Adeyemi fired Dortmund ahead inside the opening ten minutes. Just moments later, Harry Kane squandered a gilt-edged opportunity, heading the ball wide from no further than six yards out.

Sancho had the Bayern defenders on strings for much of the tie, exuding tremendous confidence – something which Erik ten Hag struggled to unlock at Old Trafford. Then, in the final minutes, Julian Ryerson doubled die Schwarzgelben's lead with a great strike across the face of the goal, beating Sven Ulreich at his far post.

After the game, Sancho marked Dortmund's first win over the Bavarians in the Bundesliga since 2018 with a post on Instagram. The on-loan Manchester United ace simply wrote: "Strong team performance [fire emoji]!"

By Sunday lunchtime, his post had racked up over 350,000 likes and plenty of comments. The likes of Noni Madueke, Emer Can and Shea Lacey all sent the England international messages. Dortmund's win over Bayern all but ended Kane's hopes of winning the Bundesliga.
