Jadon Sancho explains why he left Man City as Fernandinho offers dressing room insight

Jadon Sancho has revealed former Borussia Dortmund teammate Christian Pulisic played a key role in his decision to leave Manchester City.

Sancho joined the City academy from Watford in 2015. After little more than two years at the Etihad Stadium, he then made the move to the Bundesliga as he signed for Dortmund in the summer of 2017.

It was in the German top-flight where Sancho really made a name for himself, with his astonishing haul of 50 goals and 64 assists in just 137 matches seeing him linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe. Having been courted by Manchester United for a number of years, he eventually made the move to Old Trafford last summer, and he's now revealed why he decided to move to Dortmund from City.

City are in a good place going into the most important part of the season, according to Fernandinho.
