Jackie Tyrrell: Question marks abound for both Galway and Cork
The question marks over both Galway and Cork will lead to an intriguing All-Ireland hurling quarter-final clash, according to Jackie Tyrrell.
Cork eventually saw off the challenge of Antrim in their preliminary quarter-final on Saturday to book their spot in the next round where they will face a Galway side which fell short against Kilkenny in the Leinster final.
Speaking on RTÉ's The Sunday Game, former Kilkenny corner-back Tyrrell said there was little to choose between the two sides ahead of next Saturday's battle.
"I'd imagine they'll both be going under the radar because they're not really playing fluid hurling at the minute," he said.
"There's question marks on both sides. You look at the Galway performance in the Leinster final, (it was) very flat and some of their key performers - Joseph Cooney, Tom Monaghan, Cathal Mannion - they're key guys and didn't perform in that game.
