Jack Wilshere has described Arsenal transfer target Richarlison as "immature" - but still wants the Gunners to sign him.
The former Arsenal midfielder, who now turns out for Danish club Aarhus Gymnastikforening at the age of 30, has run the rule over Mikel Arteta's targets ahead of a crucial summer transfer window at the Emirates.
The Gunners have been linked with Richarlison after the Brazil international, 25, admitted that he was open to leaving Everton, who staved off relegation from the Premier League last season, much thanks to his slew of vital goals. While Wilshere would like to see Richarlison strut his stuff in north London, Arteta's ex-teammate issued him a warning about the striker's personality.
"Richarlison is a strange one. I think he's a top, top player," Wilshere told talkSPORT EDGE. "There's obviously something there but he's had his problems on the pitch. He's a little bit petulant and immature. Sometimes I quite like that, it shows he cares and is passionate. I think he deserves his chance at a top club. I would actually quite like to see him at Arsenal under the guidance of Mikel Arteta – 8/10."
Richarlison was part of an eight-man shortlist which the 34-capped England international was asked to individually rate, as he was quizzed on seven more stars and probed on how they would fare at Arsenal.
