Warrington Wolves forward Jack Hughes has agreed terms over a move away from the Halliwell Jones Stadium in 2023. Hughes is one of the longest-serving players at the Wire, having been with the club since 2016.
But Rugby League Live understands that Hughes' future next year will be elsewhere, and while clubs have been alerted availability of a player still only 30 and with over 250 Super League appearances to his name, terms are all-but agreed with Hughes to sign elsewhere.
Hughes was part of the Warrington side that lifted the Challenge Cup in 2019, and he has also featured in the Grand Final on two separate occasions for the club too. But despite Stefan Ratchford signing a new two-year deal with the Wire this week, Hughes looks set to join the exodus of long-serving players leaving the club since Daryl Powell's arrival.

Prop Chris Hill departed at the end of last season to join Huddersfield Giants, while Mike Cooper is departing Warrington this coming winter to move to Super League rivals Wigan Warriors. It appears that Hughes is now set to follow them, with several clubs having already held talks with the Great Britain international.
Powell has been keen to evolve Warrington's pack and take it in a new direction in 2023, underlined by the radical overhaul of announcements already confirmed. Frontline props Paul Vaughan, Gil Dudson and Sam Kasiano are joining next season, while Matty Nicholson and Thomas Mikaele have joined on long-term deals this summer.
With the club also retaining high hopes for James Harrison, who made his debut for the club last weekend in the victory against Hull FC, it leans towards a significant turnover this coming off-season. Hughes
