Jack Butland left 'sickened' by Celtic defeat as Rangers star reveals what is 'doing his head in'

Gutted Jack Butland insists Rangers showing in their 3-0 loss to Celtic was "sickening" as Philippe Clement's hoodoo in the fixture continued.

The Light Blues made a decent start inside the first 10 minutes at Celtic Park, only to then find themselves a goal down when Daizen Maeda caught James Tavernier sleeping at the back post to knock home the opener. More lacklustre defending allowed Kyogo to then fire home a second from range to double the Hoops lead before half time, with skipper Callum McGregor rounding off the scoring late in the second half.

The defeat has left Rangers five points behind their bitter rivals after four games in the Premiership, with Clement still searching for his first victory in the fixture, having now lost four of his five meetings with Brendan Rodgers so far. Speaking to Rangers TV, the dejected stopper is sick of the recurring theme of the Gers shooting themselves in the foot on the big occasion. He stated: "It's sickening to be honest.

"I don't want it to become familiar as it is doing my head in to be honest because I know what we can do. There is enough in this squad to get results but we are not giving ourselves the best
