ITV This Morning's Ben Shephard tells co-star to 'get lost' in awkward moment

On Tuesday's edition of This Morning, host Ben Shephard was left a tad embarrassed after an energetic segment. The show featured a wacky variation of the classic game Simon Says, which had gone viral online and captivated ITV's audience with its breakneck pace.

Commenting on the impressive performance displayed in the clip, Ben exclaimed: "I can't breathe watching that! I'm trying to work out how they did it."

The presenters, feeling competitive, were eager to attempt the fast-paced game themselves on live TV.

Economic guru Martin Lewis joined them, set to lead, offering a cautious start and saying: "We'll start easy."

Ben Shephard and his co-host Cat Deeley gamely stood up alongside two guests, all ready for Martin's commands, reports the Mirror.

Serving as the caller, Martin started off: "Martin says put your hand on your shoulders. Martin says put your hands on your hips."

He continued with another instruction, but deliberately confused the players: "Martin says put your hands on your knees, done you're all out!"

Following Martin's visuals rather than his vocal instructions led to a universal failure among the participants; he duped everyone by touching his head instead of his kneesa classic move that sparked immediate reactions.

A disheartened Cat chimed in: "That was terrible!" As Martin retreated from their play area, Ben responded with mock ire: "Martin, get lost!"

His amusing retort was met by praise from Cat, who lauded Martin's cheeky approach as highly astute.

Still addressing Martin, Ben called across the room: "The look of glee on your face! I've been practising, that's how awful that was. I'm devastated."

Echoing Ben's sentiment, Cat weighed in with her own vexation: "So angry, so angry right now!"
