ITV This Morning's Ben Shephard forced to cut off Jamie Oliver in awkward exchange
TV chef Jamie Oliver was less than thrilled when Ben Shephard interrupted his cooking demonstration on the show.
While presenting a healthier alternative to a Pot Noodle, Jamie Oliver was stopped by Ben Shephard just as he was getting into the swing of things.
Co-hosts Ben and Cat Deeley were pressing for Jamie to wrap up, insisting it was time for the weather segment, to which an unamused Jamie quipped: "I can tell you the weather, it's very wet out there."
The studio erupted with laughter at Jamie's comical response despite Ben attempting to keep the schedule tight and issuing him with a warning.
On the Thursday (26 September) episode, Jamie opened up a Pot Noodle to reveal its contents post going viral on TikTok where people had been infusing it with extra ingredients to elevate the snack into a meal, reports the Mirror.
He poured the contents onto the countertop, remarking: "There's nothing in here really. They are convenient, I get that and by all means have them but actually you can buy these little nests [he holds up alternative noodles]."
As he explained how these noodle nests could be prepared in two minutes and then jazzed up, Jamie suggested: "You can go to the fridge with that concept of leftovers and waste and you can take the humble carrot and use a speed peeler, the cheapest gadget in the kitchen..."
Before Ben could finish his sentence, he cut in sharply, "Jamie, Jamie two secs, stay there, we'll keep them waiting over the weather because Jamie is going to show you how you can pimp up your Pot Noodle without having to buy them."
Ben cautioned, "Because we've got to get to the weather so don't go anywhere..." and that was when Jamie chimed in with a mischievous grin, saying, "I can tell you the weather,
