ITV The Masked Singer fans' outrage as they claim Robobunny was 'robbed' in the final

They've held fans of The Masked Singer captivated with their 'voice of an angel' since January 1 and Robobunny was finally unmasked in the final.

The robotic rabbit character was revealed as Markus Feehily from the boyband Westlife.

The Irish singer had been a popular guess among viewers and with judge Rita Ora.

But fans of the zany ITV singing contest, which has celebs singing in disguise while a star panel tries to work out their identities, were not impressed that the 41-year-old came in third place.

In second place was operatic singing sensation Charlotte Church as Mushroom and popstar and former Neighbours actress Natalie Imbruglia was crowned the 2022 winner as Panda.

People flocked to Twitter to complain that Mark should have won.

@RachieBlossom asked: "What the hell was the audience listening to for him to come third !?"

@Clare_Bear_96 fumed: "COME ON. How did this man not win?"

@_Mrs_Abd said: "Robobunny should have won."

@BeautySwot complained: "Boooo I really wanted Robobunny to win."

@stitcherlucifan said: "Robobunny so should have won that man has the voice of an angel."

@KatKyns tweeted: "Robobunny was robbed #TheMaskedSinger. Great voice."

@JodanaSandyXx gasped: "He should’ve won!!!"
