Viewers of The Masked Singer say they are '100 percent' sure who Piranha is after they gave their 'winning' performance. The singing contest returned to ITV on Saturday (February 10) with five contestants left in the running to be crowned the winner ahead of a double elimination.

The semi-final saw the remaining characters Air Fryer, Eiffel Tower, Piranha, Cricket and Bigfoot each perform in front of judges Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Jonathan Ross as well as guest judge Lorraine Kelly, who was unmasked as Owl in the competition just weeks ago.

After their first round of performances, and a range of clues, the public voted for Air Fryer to be axed from the competition - with the character forced to reveal their identity. And it was a shock for the judging panel, as it turned out to be a major film star.

Air Fryer was then unmasked as Keala Settle, an American singer and actress best known for playing Lettie Lutz - the bearded lady in the film 'The Greatest Showman'. Her rendition of 'This is Me' won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in 2017 and she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Later in the programme, Eiffel Tower then lost their place in the competition after receiving the fewest public votes. The character was unmasked as 80s pop sensation Tiffany, much to the shock of the panel. The 52-year-old former teen icon is known for her iconic cover of Tommy James and the Shondells song "I Think We're Alone Now".
