ITV Saturday Night Takeaway viewers ‘crying’ as Ant and Dec make Sam Thompson's JLS ‘dream come true'

Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were left ‘crying’ tonight after Ant and Dec made I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here winner Sam Thompson’s dreams come true. The Geordie duo crowned the former Made In Chelsea star ‘King of the Jungle’ in the latest series of the hit ITV reality show filmed in Australia.

The 31-year-old appeared in the jungle alongside Josie Gibson, Tony Bellew and JLS band member Marvin Humes. Sam struck up a close friendship with the JLS star and throughout their time in the jungle, begged Marvin to teach him some moves to some of the band’s hit songs.

He also shared his dream to one day join JLS on stage and perform with them, with his dream finally coming true on tonight’s Saturday night takeaway. JLS had performed their song Everybody In Love during the show's karaoke segment, and then, ahead of performing She Makes Me Wanna, Marvin announced their special surprise.

"It's the moment he's been waiting for," said Marvin. "You know that he likes a bit of 'left, right, left, right, up, down'. For one night only, please welcome your reigning King of the Jungle, Mr Sam Thompson."

Sam then jumped onto the stage and ran up to the boys with excitement before performing the hit song with JLS, reenacting the moves that his former campmate taught him. After the wholesome moment, fans took to X to say they were left ‘crying’.
