ITV's Lorraine Kelly in hot water for 'peculiar' Paris Hilton interview as viewers say it 'drives them mad'

Lorraine Kelly has found herself in hot water with viewers after she was joined by Paris Hilton on her self-titled show. The presenter was back fronting her ITV show on Tuesday (March 21) when she was joined by the Simple Life star to chat about her new memoir.

Paris has been on various TV and radio shows, including This Morning and The One Show, while in the UK promoting her autobiography, titled Paris: The Memoir, and spoke candidly to Lorraine about her ADHD diagnosis, suffering abuse as a child and how motherhood has changed her.

Discussing why she has decided to share her memoir, Paris told the Scottish TV star: "Now is the perfect time, I finally know myself more than ever. The media has really controlled my narrative for over two decades now and now it’s time to hear it from the source."

When Lorraine shared that she was surprised to find out about Paris' ADHD diagnosis within her book, Paris said: "Knowing all I know now and after studying ADHD for so long, I just see so many reasons why I was the way I was."

Paris also shared how the relationship with her husband Carter Reum, as well as the birth of her first child Phoenix, has changed her. "Timing is everything and I had such walls around my heart, and it wasn't until my documentary that those walls came down," she said.

"And Carter definitely made them come crashing down. My life feels so complete, I feel so excited for the future and he’s [Phoenix] just everything to me," Paris added.

But those tuning in to Lorraine's interview with the famous heiress were left with the same compliment and commented how they found the chat 'peculiar'.
