ITV's Lorraine Kelly 'cross' with Madonna as she tears into singer's new look

Lorraine Kelly tore into Madonna after being unable to hide her shock at the singer's latest appearance on social media. The presenter was back at the helm of her self-titled ITV show on Monday morning (October 10) when she was joined by Ross King to discuss all the latest in entertainment.

Madonna set social media alight over the weekend when she posted a video, which shows her attempting to throw pink underwear into a bin, a current trend on TikTok, with the caption: "If I don’t get the panties in the bin, I’m gay."

The Material Girl and Vogue hitmaker then doesn’t make the shot and throws her hands up in the air in celebration. It has lead to fans questioning Madonna's sexuality. The 64-year-old also looked completely unrecognisable with cropped hot pink hair and no eyebrows.

The video amassed 1.3 million views in the first hour alone and its unclear whether the star was joking or actually making a statement about her sexuality. "Is that actually Madonna? I don't recognise her!" Lorraine, 62, exclaimed as she and Ross discussed the clip on the show.

"Honestly, what's she done? She was so beautiful - why, why, why do women do this to themselves?" the TV host went on. "She looks like a boiled egg, she doesn't look like she's got any features. I'm cross because I really like her, I really do."

Again addressing Madonna's latest TikTok video, Lorraine added: "I don’t know what she’s doing there. I’m not sure what that’s all about. But like you say, we’re talking about it therefore that was probably what it was all about."
