ITV Love Island's eagle-eyed fans spot clue that Twitter challenge will return after Laura Whitmore confirms baby task comeback

After several weeks of romance, rows and friendships, series eight of Love Island is now in its final week. The hit ITV dating show began back in June with an original line-up of 10 single contestants hoping to find love in the Majorcan villa and potentially win a £50,000 prize pot.

Over the last seven weeks, viewers have watched relationships blossom between long-standing couples Gemma Owen and Luca Bish, David Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Dami Hope and Indiyah Polac and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, despite drama that unfolded after Casa Amor and the various bombshells that have come in to tempt the Islanders.

Fans of the reality TV show also saw Jacques O'Neill quit the villa to focus on his mental health, which came after his heated reaction to series four contestant Adam Collard returning to the show. Adam set his sights on Jacques' partner Paige, and after the 23-year-old's sudden exit, Adam and Paige are now exclusively dating.

Sunday night's episode saw new bombshells Lacey Edwards, Nathalia Campos, Reece Ford and Casa Amor boy Deji Adeniy sent packing after the public voted for their least compatible couples.

Danica Taylor was saved by the public after pairing with footballer Jamie Allen, who is the only new bombshell to remain in the villa.

With the show now in its final week, the couples will take on more challenges and vote offs in a bid to be one of the four couples to reach the final, which is set to take place on Monday, August 1.
