ITV Love Island fans divided over Davide's villa plans as they predict twist

Love Island fans can't decide what Davide Sanclimenti's next move will be as he spends more time in the villa single. The Italian business owner hasn't been in an official couple since Ekin-Su Culculoglu dropped him for bombshell Jay Younger.

Davide was furious with the Turkish actress when he discovered the 27-year-old had gone off and enjoyed secret trysts with Jay within a day of his arrival in the Mallorcan villa behind his back.

During a re-coupling Ekin-Su opted for the 28-year-old investment analyst while it was Gemma Owen who secured Davide's place on the ITV2 dating show by choosing to name him over Remi Lambert after her love interest Lucas Bish was picked by the then-new girl Danica Taylor.

He's now just chilling in the villa and has been enjoying a couple of chats with dancer Danica. Then, during Wednesday night's show, viewers saw him head off on a date after being chosen by latest bombshell, Antigoni Buxton. During the singer-songwriter's first date with Davide, he said: “I can feel that you came here for a real connection," to which she agreed, saying: "I can’t be ungenuine – it’s impossible”, to which he replied: “Me too. I can’t fake feelings."

Then, after returning to the villa, Davide appeared to take pleasure in winding up Ekin-Su and told her that Jay, who was also on the date alongside Dami Hope, had kissed newbie Antigoni. "You should have seen their passionate kiss," he told her despite the locking of lips not taking place.
