ITV I'm A Celebrity's Maura Higgins giggles over Pete Wicks romance and says 'I do miss him'
It didn't take long for Maura Higgins to be quizzed on her rumoured romance with Pete Wicks following her I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here exit.
The former Love Island finalist was tipped to win the ITV reality show after she became this year's latecomer into the jungle alongside Reverend Richard Coles. But after missing out on bagging immunity in a new show twist, Maura found herself with the fewest votes from the public alongside fellow Irish star Barry McGuigan.
Now, Maura has made a bright and breezy appearance on This Morning on Friday (December 6) and echoed her comments about knowing she was next to leave the camp.

She told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary via video link live from the Gold Coast: "I told everyone in camp last night, 'This is my last night'. I had Coleen [Rooney] plait my hair late last night and I said, 'Please, becasue I know I'm going to walk out tomorrow and I want my hair in plaits'. I just had a gut feeling."
After chatting about jungle life for most of the interview, Alison couldn't help but comment: "I'm very excited with you meeting up with Pete when you get back, we all know it's Pete - don't even go there and say it's not Pete! You love him and he loves you," after Maura spoke about her love life in the jungle.
The excited host then asked: "What's gonna happen when you come back?" Maura responded cheekily: "It didn't take you long to ask that question, Alison, did it?" She then added: "Do you know what? You do forget about the cameras, and I do like to keep things private.
