ITV Good Morning Britain viewers fume and beg for 'silence please' as Martin Lewis struggles to speak during appearance
Good Morning Britain viewers were left asking for 'silence please' as Martin Lewis was left struggling to speak during his latest appearance on the show. The Money Saving Expert founder returned to the ITV news programme on Thursday (March 16) following the Chancellor's Spring Budget announcement on Wednesday.
He was on hand to try and explain some of the announcements made by Jeremy Hunt and also celebrated the success of his Energy Price Guarantee campaign. The government has headed advice from Martin and his team of experts and postponed a planned 20 per cent rise on the EPG.
This means that it will now remain at £2,500 a year for a typical household for at least three months from April 1 when It had been due to rise to £3,000 a year.

However, GMB viewers were unimpressed as they accused host Kate Garraway of "interrupting" Martin during his appearance on the show. This included one moment where Martin began to explain the fiscal drag, which would result in people having to pay more tax if tax thresholds aren't increased.
"Going onto your question…" Martin then said as Kate replied: “I mean that’s part of my question really, what’s left to do?” But Martin tried to speak as well via video link from home, creating an awkward moment of the pair talking over each other before Kate said: "Carry on – go for it, Martin!"
