ITV Good Morning Britain host forced to pause show for 'breaking news'

Good Morning Britain star Rob Rinder was forced to halt the ITV morning show in its tracks to issue a breaking news announcement.

During Friday’s (February 14) episode of the breakfast show, Rob and co-star Charlotte Hawkins took on hosting duties as they presented the day's top stories.

However it was one segment that had everyone talking, as Rob paused the show and revealed that The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said parents could be saving £300 annually by switching to lower-priced brands that offered the same nutritional benefits.

Speaking to viewers at home, he said: “Welcome back The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) outline recommendations that can help save parents £300 a year on infant formula milk.”
