Enthusiastic Emmerdale viewers reckon they've sussed out the one to expose Tom King (portrayed by James Chase), with the culprit yet to set foot in the village.

In recent episodes, audiences have seen Tom manipulating and dominating his spouse, Belle Dingle (acted by Eden Taylor-Draper), but it appears his downfall is imminent.

Initially fooling everyone into believing Belle was the aggressor and that her accusations were figments of her imagination, Tom's facade has begun to crumble, leading the Dingles and the entire village to question his narrative.

Lately, in a desperate bid to sway his uncle Jimmy (Nick Miles) after Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) deserted their dwelling, Tom took extreme actions.

He resorted to vandalism, shattering his car windows and fabricating an assault upon himself, all to maintain Jimmy's perception of him as a victim.
