ITV Dancing On Ice 2022 finalist given 'huge boost' ahead of final casting doubt on 'clear winner'

There's not long to go now until the winner of Dancing On Ice 2022 is crowned.

Fans have had to wait an additional week for the final of the ITV skating competition with the finalists being chosen back on March 13. The hit show was taken off air last weekend due to coverage of the FA Cup quarter-final matches.

Regan Gascoigne, Brandan Cole, and Kimberly Wyatt will perform for the last time in the hope of skating away with the trophy alongside their professional skating partners.

The trio have been fighting for top of the leader board since the ITV competition began and made it to the final of the competition after wowing the ice panel - Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean - and those watching from home.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be back to help navigate proceedings when the final begins on ITV at 7pm on Sunday night (March 27).

Brendan, Regan, and Kimberly will be back on the ice hoping to deliver more stunning performances but after two weeks of practising the iconic routine, only two will perform the Boléro in front of the masters themselves, Torvill and Dean.

There will also be a performance from the skating legends and the eliminated cast of 2022 will also be lacing up their skates to take to the ice for one last time on the show before former Strictly Come Dancing pro Brenda, Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly, and dancer Regan, who is the son of former England footballer Paul, will be crowned the ultimate winner.

And it is Kimberly who has been given a 'huge boost' as she is heading into the Dancing on Ice finale as the most popular pick with Ladbrokes to win the series.
