ITV Corrie spoilers as heartbroken Kevin leaves Abi after affair bombshell

The terrible truth comes tumbling out on next week's Coronation Street as Abi Franklin makes a dark confession.

As Imran Habeeb and Toyah Battersby celebrate their engagement in the bistro, their romantic mood is broken.

Sally finds Abi outside the bistro clearly upset, and Abi admits to her friend that she slept with someone else behind Kevin’s back.

Corrie viewers will recall that Abi had a one-night stand with Imran last year following the outcome of the trial for her son Seb Franklin's murder.

At new year she told Imran she thought she was pregnant which turned out to be a false alarm.

Abi begs Sally not to tell Kevin about her infidelity, but Sally refuses to make any promise to keep the news secret from her ex husband.

But later Abi takes a call from Sally, unaware that her phone is connected to the blue tooth speaker in their camper van.

Having heard their conversation, Kevin reels in shock.

Stunned by what he's just heard, the devastated mechanic leaps in the camper van and roars off down the street.

Elsewhere Sarah Barlow searches through her husband Adam’s receipts.

After finding one from an expensive lingerie shop in London she finds out that he also ordered champagne and oysters at a hotel.

Sarah confronts Lydia Chambers who claims that she and Adam are having an affair, making out that she and Adam just couldn’t resist each other.

Suddenly they’re interrupted by the arrival of Adam who assures Sarah that Lydia’s lying through her teeth.
