ITV Coronation Street fans 'certain' they've figured out who will expose Lydia's lies over Adam.

Coronation Street fans are desperate for Sarah Barlow to wake up to the lies she's being told by Lydia Chambers.

The Underworld boss has been left distraught after discovering husband Adam had been cheating on her with her new friend.

However, as viewers of the ITV soap know, Adam hasn't been cheating and Lydia is in fact setting him up in a bid for revenge.

During last Friday's hour-long trip to the cobbles, Sarah became suspicious after picking up Adam's hotel bill and receiving a call about him forgetting a women's watch in his room.

With Lydia at her swanky flat she shares with Adam, Sarah tested her suspicions before her Underworld colleague confessed to Adam being her mystery man.

The women were soon interrupted by the arrival of Adam to which he quickly denied everything Sarah had been told.

Later, after being kicked out by Sarah he confronted Lydia and asked why she was destroying his life to which she said it was "payback".

Adam noted they only briefly dated years ago to which Lydia furiously replied: "You messed up my life, you dismantled me bit by bit.

"Tell you what I’m going to do, Adam, I’m going to dismantle your life like you dismantled mine. Piece by piece. And there is nothing you can do about it."

Then on Monday night, Carla Connor confronted Adam over his alleged affair, despite them sharing a secret liaison not too long ago.

Warning him to stay away from the factory where his wife and apparent love works, Adam was soon setting her straight, again insisting on his innocence.
